Meet Betsy Chamberland

Betsy Chamberland is the third generation to own & operate the Frank Chamberland Agency, succeeding her father Robert, and grandfather Frank.

She attended local schools and eventually earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration, Management concentration. She began her insurance career while she was still a teenager, working in the agency after school. She subsequently studied for and acquired her Connecticut Property & Casualty insurance license in 1982. She also holds a Rhode lsland Non-Resident Property & Casualty license.

She is a lifetime resident of Sterling and is active in the community. Presently, she is serving on the Sterling Board of Zoning Appeals, after previously serving on the Water Pollution Control Authority and the Economic Development Commission.

In her free time she enjoys walking, reading, watching sports events & spending time with family and friends.
